Chat safety guide

Protect your information, respect boundaries and know how to get help.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These precautions are for your safety when chatting, sharing photos or arranging an Offering or meeting through Allyo.

01Keep money and account details private

Never share bank account or card details, UPI details or QR codes, UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords, your Allyo PIN or recovery codes. You never need to enter a PIN or approve a payment request to receive money. Allyo support will never ask for your PIN, OTP or password.

02Protect your photos and documents

Do not share intimate or private photos, sexual or abusive images, identity documents such as Aadhaar, PAN or passports, financial documents, or screenshots containing private information. Do not share another person’s images or documents without permission. A recipient may copy or forward content even after you delete it.

03Meet in a public place first

Choose a busy, well-lit public place together before meeting. Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to return. Arrange your own transport, keep your phone charged, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Do not share your home address or live location with someone you have just met.

05Check claims before making arrangements

A profile, photo, approved Offering or promotion does not guarantee identity, qualifications, honesty or safety. Independently check credentials where relevant, and agree clearly on the service, price and cancellation terms. Allyo does not process payments between members.

07Report, block and get help

Use Chat options → Report or Block, or Report a concern in Settings. You can complain about chats, photos, Offerings or members to Allyo Admin at [email protected] or +91 7478649806. Include the username, relevant message or Offering details, and when it happened. Do not send passwords, private documents or illegal images as evidence.

08If you are in danger

Leave the situation and contact local emergency services. In India, call 112 for immediate danger. For financial cyber fraud, contact your bank promptly and call 1930 or visit cybercrime.gov.in. Allyo support is not an emergency response service.

09Complaints and grievances

Support and grievance contact: Allyo Admin.

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone: +91 7478649806
  • In the app: use Chat options → Report, Member profile → Report Member, or Settings → Report a concern. Use Block to stop further direct interaction.

Complaints may concern chats, photos, Offerings or members. Include the relevant username, message or Offering details, date/time and a description. Do not send passwords, banking credentials, identity documents or illegal images. For a child-safety report, identify where the material appeared without downloading, screenshotting or forwarding it.

For complaints governed by the IT Rules, the applicable deadlines include acknowledgement within 24 hours and resolution within 7 days, with shorter timelines for certain content: qualifying content-removal complaints within 36 hours, and specified intimate imagery or impersonation complaints within 2 hours. Urgent complaints should be clearly marked. Contact emergency services directly if someone is in immediate danger.

10Before the first chat with each member

The app shows a compact safety reminder modal before opening your first chat with each member on a device. Tap Read full safety guide to open this detailed page; return to the modal to continue. You must actively acknowledge the precautions, agree to the community rules and Terms & conditions, and confirm reading the Privacy policy. The unchecked box must be selected before continuing. The acknowledgement is stored only on that device, separately for your account and the other member, with the guide version and acceptance time. Clearing app data or reinstalling may show it again. This acknowledgement does not consent to unrelated data use or waive your legal rights.

Open Chats → ⋮ → Chat safety guide or the same option in an individual chat to read it again at any time.

11Your choices and Allyo’s responsibilities

These precautions are for your safety. You are responsible for what you choose to share and for arrangements you make with other members. To the extent permitted by law, Allyo is not responsible for losses arising solely from another member’s conduct or your independent arrangements. Nothing here removes your statutory rights or excludes Allyo’s own legal obligations or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Terms & conditions, Privacy policy and User guidelines continue to apply.
