User guidelines

Allyo works because people are real and treat each other well. These rules apply to every Member, profile, Offering, request and chat message.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

01Be real

  • Use your own identity. Don't pretend to be someone else, another brand or Allyo.
  • Use photos of yourself on your profile, and photos that honestly represent your Offering.
  • Describe Offerings accurately — what's included, how long it takes, your real experience and a realistic starting price.
  • One person, one account.

02Be respectful

  • Treat every Member with courtesy, whatever their background, gender, religion, caste, age, disability or orientation.
  • Take "no" for an answer, including a declined request. Don't send repeated requests to someone who has declined.
  • Keep contact about the booking you agreed. Don't contact Members for unrelated reasons.

03No harassment or hate

Allyo has zero tolerance for these — on profiles, photos, Offerings, chat messages or in any contact that started on Allyo:

  • Threats, intimidation, stalking or bullying.
  • Hate speech or slurs, or content that promotes discrimination or violence.
  • Unwanted sexual messages, advances or images.
  • Sharing someone else's private information without their permission.

04Chat with care

  • Chat opens after a booking request is accepted. Use it to plan and follow up on that booking.
  • Be clear and polite. Don't send messages at unreasonable hours or flood someone with messages.
  • No unsolicited photos, links to unknown sites, or requests to move to another app to pay.
  • If a conversation makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to reply — block the Member and report them.

05No spam or scams

  • No misleading, duplicate or keyword-stuffed Offerings.
  • No advertising unrelated to your Offering, chain messages or mass requests.
  • Never ask for, or share, card, bank or UPI details, one-time codes or PINs. Allyo doesn't process payments.
  • No schemes that promise money in return for Credits — Credits have no cash value.

07Block anyone, any time

Open the Member's profile, tap ⋮ and choose Block. They can no longer send you requests, chat with you or open your profile, and pending requests between you are closed. You can unblock them in Settings → Blocked members.

08Reporting a problem

If a Member, profile, Offering or message breaks these guidelines, email to be announced with:

  • the Member's username,
  • the Offering title (if any),
  • what happened and when,
  • screenshots, if you have them.

We review every report, normally within 24 hours, and tell you when we've acted. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (112 in India) first.

09How moderation works

  • Before publishing: every new Offering is checked and approved by the Allyo admin team before it appears in the app — until then no one else can see it. An edit to a live Offering is approved again before it's shown, and the Offering is hidden meanwhile. Offerings that don't meet these guidelines are rejected with a note explaining why.
  • After a report: we review what was reported — including the chat messages involved — and may remove content, reject or remove Offerings, or suspend accounts. A suspended account can't sign in or chat.
  • Serious or repeated breaches lead to permanent removal, and we may cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.
  • Think a decision was wrong? Email to be announced and we'll take another look.

These guidelines sit alongside our Terms & conditions.
