01Signing in
- Open Allyo and choose Continue with email (or Continue with Google).
- Enter your email and the 6-digit code we send you — or, if you already have an account, sign in with your PIN.
- New to Allyo? Add your name and mobile number, create a 6-digit PIN, accept the Terms and confirm you're 18 or over.
Tip: easy PINs like 123456 or 111111 aren't accepted. After several wrong PINs, PIN sign-in pauses for a few minutes to protect your account — you can still sign in with an email code.
02Setting up your profile
- Go to Profile → Edit profile (or Settings → Update profile).
- Add a clear photo of yourself, a cover photo and a short description (up to 300 characters).
- Check your username — it's how other Members know you.
- Add up to 6 feature photos on your Profile — they appear on your Offering cards.
03Creating an Offering
- Tap Create in the bottom bar.
- Pick the one category that fits best.
- Fill in the details, choose the area you serve, your days and a cover photo.
- Accept the Terms and the User guidelines, then Send for review. You can also save a draft.
- Wait for admin approval. Your Offering appears in the app only after the Allyo admin team approves it. Follow its status in Settings → My Offerings: *Pending* (waiting for approval — not visible to others), *Live* (approved and visible), or *Rejected* (with a note explaining why — fix it and resubmit).
- Editing a live Offering sends it back to *Pending*; it's hidden until it's approved again.
04Sending and handling requests
- To book, open an Offering, tap Request to book and confirm with Yes.
- Open Requests in the bottom bar to see requests you've received and sent, grouped by Pending, Accepted and Declined.
- On a received request, tap the Member to see their public profile, then Accept or Decline (you can add a short note when declining).
05Chatting
- Chat opens once a request between you is accepted. Tap Chat on the request or on the Offering, or open the chat icon on Home.
- Swipe a message to reply to it. Long-press a message to reply, retry a failed message or delete it.
- Ticks show whether a message is sent (✓), delivered (✓✓) or read (blue ✓✓).
- Not connecting? Check your internet. Messages you write offline are sent automatically when you're back online.
06Blocking and reporting
- Block: open the Member's profile, tap ⋮ and choose Block. They can't send you requests, chat with you or see your profile. Unblock any time in Settings → Blocked members.
- Report: email to be announced with the Member's username, the Offering title or a screenshot, and what happened. We review every report, and remove content or accounts that break the User guidelines.
07Credits
- Your balance and full history are in Settings → Credits.
- You earn 1 Credit a day just by opening Allyo.
- If a Credit movement looks wrong, email us with the date and what you were doing.
08Location
- Tap the area pill (📍) at the top of Home to search for an area or use your current location, and set the distance with the slider.
- Denied location access? You can still search for an area by name — or allow access later in your phone's Settings → Allyo → Location.
09Notifications
- Not getting alerts? Check your phone's Settings → Notifications → Allyo, and make sure you're signed in on that phone.
- Signing out stops notifications on that phone.
10Staying safe
- Meet in a public place first and tell someone where you're going.
- Never share card, bank or UPI details, one-time codes or your PIN — Allyo will never ask for them.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave, block the Member and report them.
